About
Tamara is an illustrator and freelance artist based in Espoo, Finland, originally from Russia. After completing art school, she proudly honed her skills independently, taking several courses at the St. Petersburg School of Commercial Illustration. For over a decade, Tamara has worked as a freelancer, using digital-based visual methods and various professional tools such as Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Procreate Dreams.
As an illustrator, Tamara enjoys infusing her works with a dreamy atmosphere and vibrant colours. She finds inspiration in the diversity of people and the uniqueness of flora and fauna. At times, she combines incompatible elements inside her works which reminds of surrealism. Continuously evolving, Tamara is always open to new projects and experimenting with different styles in her work.
Moving from Russia to Finland in late 2021 has been a time of renewal and modernisation of her creative approach. Tamara believes that art has the power to inspire, unite, and foster understanding, and she is grateful to use her talent to support these values.
